N. PEAL X 007

Exclusive cashmere knitwear brand N. Peal’s partnership with 007 continues in James Bond’s latest on-screen adventure “No Time to Die” with a uniquely created military style sweater in navy. Modelling its design on British Military Commando sweaters, N. Peal developed this piece of knitwear with No Time To Die costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb.

N. PEAL X 007

“We wanted to give Bond a unique look in specific scenes of the film,” begins Larlarb, “And yet the piece had to be action-ready. It needed to be a strong silhouette, something that harks back to his military past and which also had a timeless quality to it as well.”

The N. Peal team worked with Larlarb’s brief, detailed photographs of authentic Commando sweaters and samples of extant vintage pieces to create the unique piece of clothing that Bond wears in the film and in his striking character poster.

“When you have the number of decisions that you are required to make, for each and every detail, for every item of clothing, in a film of this scope and size, having a collaboration such as the one we had with N. Peal was a godsend,” Larlarb concludes.

For N. Peal managing director, Adam Holdsworth, the collaboration was equally rewarding.“We’re very pleased to work with the James Bond franchise and our project with Suttirat and No Time To Die is something of which we are very proud.”

N.Peal also supplied a cashmere T-shirt for the film, worn by Madeleine Swann. Both of these signature pieces are exclusively available from N. Peal prior to No Time To Die’s theatrical release in April 2020. Interest can be registered on their website now.

2 Moncler 1952 is a visually striking edit of Moncler classics, contextualized in the contemporary urban scenario. Shapes and materials are functional: zippered jackets, field jackets, parkas, car coats, track-pants and Bermuda shorts come in cotton, nylon or rip stop fabrications. Geometries and intarsia create vibrancy as solid bright alternate with neutral tones or total black with vivid touches for a high visibility effect. Zippered pockets allow items to be functionally folded and packed; padded collars are another utilitarian detail. The giant size logo recurs as a mark.

The first pocket square dates back to ancient Egypt, but King Richard II of England is the gentleman credited for this debonair invention. Furthermore, they are back completing those 2 piece suits as they once did. Of course, we have our favorites at the moment.

It's not every day an iconic American fashion brand gets a completely new creative direction from Raf Simons. After all the teaser advertising with the iconic white Calvin Klein briefs contrasted by young women in daring cuts and draped in the American flag reveling on a stone floor — we finally get to see what we have been waiting for, all we have to say is American fashion is fun again. From geometric contrasting colors, which remind us of Loewe to the camel color and flesh colored sheer shirts thin men are wearing on the runway which truly remind us of Parisian collections.  So why not wear head to toe denim. Just saying.
